RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Shangela, Bob the Drag Queen and Eureka O’Hara have landed their own drag show for HBO.
The new six-part show, We’re Here, will follow the three queens as they travel to small towns where they will put on drag shows with locals for one night only.
In the unscripted series, which is set to air in spring 2020, the queens will be teaching their drag daughters how to love themselves, looking fierce and inspire them to get out of their comfort zones by embracing their new drag personas.
“Drag is about confidence and self expression,” Nina Rosenstein, executive vice president of programming at HBO, said in a press release.
“We are so thrilled to showcase the transformative power of the art form with our audience.”
Following the news of the series, the three drag stars took to social media to share their excitement about the show.
Eureka wrote on Instagram: “WORK WORK WORK!!! I’m so excited to scream it from the Roof Tops!”
Shangela added: “It’s emotional. Theatrical. Oh, it’s gonna be a SHOW!
“Never give up on your dreams y’all. And don’t be afraid to WERQ HARD for what u want! HALLELOO!”
