Warning: Spoilers follow for the final episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World.

After a series that’s been anything but short on shocks, gags, and plenty of tea RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World has crowned Blu Hydrangea as the very first Queen of the World.

Blu was up against Baga Chipz, Mo Heart, and Jujubee in the finale of the first international Drag Race series which saw drag queens from the UK, Canada, the US, the Netherlands, and Thailand compete for the grand title.

Tuesday’s finale episode saw the final four queens battle in out in a lipsync extravaganza in front of the judges and the eliminated queens.

Mo Heart chose to lipsync against Baga, and knocked out the British queen following a performance of Jessie J’s Domino.

Blu Hydragea and Jujubee then competed in a lisync to Duran Duran’s ‘The Reflex’, with Blu knocking out Juju.

With Mo and Blu left as the top two, the queens faced off in a lipsync showdown to Kylie Minogue’s ‘Supernova’, with Ru eventually opting to give the title of Queen of the World to Blu.

Having received the crown, Blu who will now head to Los Angeles to record a song with Mama Ru herself, with proceeds split between Comic Relief and Children in Need.

The Northern Irish queen was responsibile for one of the biggest shocks of the season when she sent home series frontrunner Pangine in episode four, but the risky tactic paid off in the end as she lifted the crown and sceptre.

Blu, we bow down…

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World is available to watch in full on the BBC iPlayer.
