RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World‘s Pangina Heals has thrown some shade over Baga Chipz pointing out that if the “most famous woman in Britain” wants to win the crown, she’ll have to win a lip-sync first.
Pangina sadly left the competition this week after landing in the bottom alongside everyone else who wasn’t in the top two. Following a lip-sync between Baga and Blu Hydrangea, the latter was named the week’s winner and revealed she had chosen Pangina’s lipstick.
Speaking to Tia Kofi and Attitude on Tea Time in association with Taimi, the LGBTQ dating and social network app, Pangina was asked what she makes of Baga Chipz’ recent declaration that she wants to win the show for Jimbo, who Pangina unexpectedly eliminated in week three.
Pangina replies cheekily: “In order for her [Baga] to win, she would have to be able to win the lip-sync first.”
On Baga’s lip-sync against Blu this week, Pangina continues: “I do think that she was trying…” before shrugging and laughing. She then adds: “It is what it is.”
The Thai queen quickly clarifies that not every queen can do a=everything, but is sure that she didn’t think Baga would win the lip sync anyway. “I knew that Blu was going to decimate it. But I didn’t think Blu was going to choose me so joke’s on me,” she continues.
But there was “not even a little” tension between Baga and Pangina following Pangina sending Jimbo home she confirms.
Pangina also teases that a new series of Drag Race Thailand is on the way, telling Tia: “Apparently everyone told me it’s confirmed so I guess it’s confirmed.”
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World continues next Tuesday at 9pm on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.
