Dancing to a highland jig, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK series two winner,Lawrence Chaney’s up in this gig with their debut book.
From Helensburgh to Edinburgh, the Scottish drag queen royalty will showcase valuable life lessons and tricks of the trade in her book: Lawrence Chaney Drag Queen of Scots: The Do’s and Don’ts of a Drag Superstar, set to be released by publisher Transworld on 23 September.

After making her name in Glasgow city (she can’t sing or dance, but she’s so witty!) Lawrence won over the nation with her mix of brassy humour and vulnerability, which ultimately saw her snatch the crown.
“I am absolutely buzzing for everyone to read this book!”
The Dos and Don’ts of a Drag Superstar will see Lawrence the newly anointed queen recount stories from their life, including learning to sew aged seven, being bullied, finding an outlet in drag and celebrating his curves and inner beauty.
Lawrence says, “‘I am absolutely buzzing for everyone to read this book! It’s been so amazing to recall silly stories and funny moments I’ve had, as well as sharing what I’ve learnt in life already.”
The queen has challenged people to make it sell out in a video posted to her Twitter account announcing the book is available to pre-order.
