Duncan James on long-distance relationship with boyfriend Rodrigo: ‘We make it work’

They were kept apart by the COVID-19 pandemic – and Duncan James has confirmed he and his boyfriend Rodrigo Reis are still in a long-distance relationship but “making it work.”
The London-based Blue singer Duncan met Rodrigo, who lives in Belgium while touring with his bandmates in the country back in 2019.
And while the couple have ben pictured together several times on Duncan’s Instagram in recent years, it seems their respective careers mean they can’t be in the same place.
“He has a job there”
Speaking to MailOnline, the 43-year-old explained of his partner Rodrigo Reis, who is from Brazil: “He lives in Belgium, he has a job there.”
The ‘Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word’ singer continued: “We have a long-distance relationship but we make it work.”

The father-of-one said of his upcoming work commitments: “I haven’t done a gig for a long time with the boys or anything, I haven’t even seen the boys, it’s been weird.
“Two of them have just gone and had babies and I’m off doing panto and then I go on tour. I’m pretty booked. I can’t complain.”
Speaking in an interview with OK! May 2021, the star said of being in a relationship with Rodrigo during the pandemic: “I started having therapy during this lockdown as my anxiety was getting worse and I wasn’t able to see Rodrigo.”
The 43-year-old added of marriage: “We’ve talked about that. But we have to wait and see how this crazy world pans out. It’s difficult. Rodrigo’s very close to his mother and she lives in Brazil.”
