Ella Henderson: ‘Me and Cher DM each other on Twitter’
By Ben Kelly

Ella Henderson has revealed her plans to collaborate with fist-pumping pop legend Cher.
The 18-year-old, who finished sixth on The X Factor in 2012, discussed the musical hook-up in an exclusive interview with Attitude yesterday (April 15).
“I’ve got this thing where I desperately want to record with Cher, doing Believe,” Henderson explained. “I want to do a mash-up of my version with the original, and to shoot a music video, and it’ll go on YouTube one day.”
The collaboration might not be outside of the realms of possibility, either. After Henderson’s performance of Cher’s 1998 hit proved popular on The X Factor back in 2012, she was famously tweeted by the Oscar-winning star, who said she would “share the song” with her.
“We follow each other on Twitter and we direct messaged some funny messages to one another,” Henderson recalled.
“She just congratulated me on the success of being on the show and said that she loved what I did with the song. She was also saying something about how she was going to move to Canary Wharf at some point?”
Ella Henderson’s debut single Ghost, co-written with songwriter to the stars Ryan Tedder (Halo, Rumour Has It, Bleeding Love) is set to be unveiled when the video premieres on April 23. Listen to a teaser remix below.
