Ellen Page would be ‘thrilled’ to play gay characters for the rest of her career.
The Juno actress came out back in 2014 during a speech at the Human Rights Campaign’s “Time to Thrive” conference in Las Vegas.

And now during the Toronto International Film Festival this week, the actress was asked whether she felt like she was being pigeonholed into gay roles.
Page then replied: “You would never ask a heterosexual actress that, as being typecast as straight.
“Why would I not want to play those roles. Quite frankly, I would be thrilled if it’s every role I ever played again!”
The actress recently portrayed pansexual novelist Shawna Hawkins in the Netflix series Tales of the City and has also appeared as herself in the documentary Gaycation, showing the actress travelling and celebrating LGBTQ culture worldwide.
