Ellen’s hunky gardener auditions for ‘Magic Mike’ sequel
By Josh Haggis
Nick, The Ellen Show‘s resident hunky gardener, has auditioned for a part in Magic Mike XXL.
Following news that Matthew McConaughey won’t be returning for the forthcoming sequel, Ellen told viewers that she thinks Nick would be the perfect choice to replace him.
The chatshow host then called Greg Silverman, President of Warner Bros Studios, to persuade him to give Nick an audition – and Silverman agreed.
Later in the show, Nick revealed that Ellen’s hustling on his behalf had paid off, saying that the studio boss had agreed to “figure out a way” to use him in the movie.
