Eminem ‘comes out’ as gay in ‘The Interview’

Eminem ‘comes out’ as gay in new comedy film The Interview.

The film – starring James Franco and Seth Rogan – was pulled from release by Sony Pictures after numerous cyber attacks and terrorist threats. Despite the threats, the film received a limited release in US theaters this week, and is currently available to download on-demand.

Eminem makes a cameo as himself during a scene in the film, where he tells James Franco’s character Skylark that he’s not “homophobic” despite some of his lyrics, he’s actually a gay man.

“When I say things about gay people, or people think my lyrics are homophobic – it’s because I’m gay,” says the rapper. “I’m more shocked with people haven’t figured it out now. I mean, it’s kind of like I’ve been playing gay peek-a-boo.”
