‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’ extends West End stay until 2020 with Layton Williams as the titular character

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie has extended its run on the West End for another year.
The hit LGBTQ musical – written by Dan Gillespie Sells and Tom MacRae – has seen nothing but praise for its run at the Apollo Theatre in London and recently Layton Williams took over as the titular character from original Jamie, John McCrea.
And now, producer Nica Burns has confirmed to The Stage that the show will be continue book until January 25, 2020, with Williams continuing as the titular character.
Burns said: “We are delighted that Layton Williams is having such a ball playing Jamie that he will continue leading the cast into 2020 and will celebrate our second birthday in November 2019.”
Williams also wrote on Twitter: “WE’RE EXTENDING UNTIL JAN 2020 and I’m soooooooo happy! #JamieLondon”
