‘Expendables’ director: ‘Schwarzenegger’s character is gay’

director Patrick Hughes has suggested that the characters played by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jet Li are in a gay relationship.
Patrick Hughes referred back to a scene in the recent blockbuster sequel, saying it was intended to imply that the characters are romantically involved.
In the scene, Jet Li’s character Yin Yang nuzzles Schwarzenegger’s Trench, prompting Sylvester Stallone’s character to say: “You guys want to get a room?”
Grantland.com asked Hughes: “Did the former-Governator just silently flip off Prop 8? Are two of the Expendables together by the end of the movie?”
“I believe they are,” he replied.
The Expendables 3 is showing now in UK cinemas. The film also stars Jason Statham, Harrison Ford, Kellan Lutz, Mel Gibson and Kelsey Grammer.
