Fashion designer L’Wren Scott found dead, aged 47

L’Wren Scott has been found dead at the age of 47.

The fashion designer and girlfriend of Mick Jagger was discovered by her assistant at her apartment in Manhattan, according to the New York Daily News.

It has been suggested that Scott committed suicide, but this has yet to be confirmed by authorities.

However, police said that they are not treating the death as suspicious.

Scott worked as a model and Hollywood stylist before moving into fashion design. She launched her Little Black Dress collection in 2006, and recently collaborated with Banana Republic on a clothing range.

A spokesman for Jagger has said the singer is “completely shocked and devastated” by Scott’s death.
