‘Feel Good’: Netflix releases trailer for second and final series of LGBTQ comedy-drama
We don't 'Feel Good' about the acclaimed series coming to an end.

Netflix has announced that the second and (sadly) final series of the LGBTQ comedy-drama, Feel Good, will debut on the streaming service on 4 June.
The semi-autobiographical show picks up where we left off with gender non-conforming Mae, played by Canadian comedian and actor Mae Martin, as they check into rehab following a drug relapse.
The series, written and created by Mae Martin and Joe Hampson, has been praised by critics as balancing dark subject matter, including drug use and addiction, with humour and at its heart, a love story.
“I’m beyond excited”
Series two will see Mae try to come to terms with their past, while their ex, George, played by Charlotte Ritchie (Fresh Meat), seems to be moving on, but with a new man to complicate things.
Speaking to Variety in December, Mae Martin said: “I’m beyond excited to be able to return to the world of ‘Feel Good,’ and to see Mae and George’s love story through to the dramatic conclusion we had always planned.
Having spent most of 2020 speaking only to my kettle and my television as I watched the world burn on the internet, I’m euphoric to be around other human beings again. Seeing Joe Hampson’s and my dumb jokes come to life is heaven.”

Joining Martin and Ritchie for a final bow is comedy icon and FRIENDS legend, Lisa Kudrow, who spoke to Attitude last year about her role on the show. Philip Burgers and Adrian Lukis will also return.
The trailer for series two promises more of the messy, real characters we came to love last time, as well more of that dark but brilliant comedy.
In one moment, our protagonist, Mae, declares they no longer identify as a woman, and instead identifies as a “Adam Driver or Ryan Gosling.” And honestly, how many of us have thought something similar?!
