‘Finding Prince Charming’ contestant spits on love rival then quits show – WATCH

A contestant on Finding Prince Charming, has dramatically quite the show – after spitting at one of his love rivals. We predicted drama by the bucket-load for Logo TV’s new gay dating show, but we weren’t expecting things to get quite so feral so soon.
It all kicked off during last week’s (September 22) episode, when Sam, a 31-year old fitness company owner from Chicago, accused rival Dillon of bad-mouthing him to Prince Charming, a.k.a Robert Sepulveda Jr. The pair hadn’t seen eye to eye throughout the show, but the revelations that Dillon had taken their beef to Robert made Sam snap, culminating in him calling Dillon a “snake” and then spitting on him. The drama was just too much to handle for one of the other contestants, Danique, who immediately began to sob.
Following the spitting incident, Sam packed his bags and left. Without even saying goodbye to the man he had been competing for. The former contestant spoke to NewNowNext following his departure, and explained how Dillon’s gossiping was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
“I didn’t want to leave, but my two fears going into the show were, one, I wasn’t going to connect intimately with Prince Charming and, two, someone in the house would make my experience a negative one.
“Unfortunately, both of those things happened.
“I thought about staying , but I was fed up with Dillon—and fed up with some of the other guys who clearly saw Dillon for who he was but didn’t say anything.”
The show is focused on finding out who Robert is keenest on, but it seems as though Sam had already counted himself out of the competition, due to lack of interest.
“In regards to Robert, don’t get me wrong, I think he’s very attractive, but there’s more to a partner than looks. To me, Robert was rather boring and too quiet for someone like me, who’s obviously an extrovert [laughs]. I didn’t get that fairy-tale ending at all. This was not a fairy tale for me.
“But you haven’t seen or heard the last of me, I can promise you that.”
Despite not feeling as though the prize was worth the stress of the competition, Sam did admit that spitting on someone on television wasn’t the wisest idea: “Of course, spitting doesn’t look good on anyone—let alone on reality TV,” he said.
“He definitely brought that out of me. The only regret I have is that I allowed him to get under my skin. He got what he wanted. I left and it was one less person Dillon had to compete with.
“From the very beginning he gave me a bad taste in my mouth and I spit it out. Literally.”
According to the Daily Mail, Sam also said: “As soon as I did it, I regretted it. I definitely did, because I was bullied as a kid. I was bullied hard. I was bullied to the point where I was cutting myself.
“Truly, I’ve never spit on anyone in my life. I just spit at him and immediately I felt remorse. But it’s done. I do think he was manipulative, but he definitely did not deserve to be spit on – nobody deserves that. I wouldn’t spit on my own worst enemy.”
Will Dillon and Sam be able to bury the hatchet now the pair are no longer competing? Sam reckons it’s up to Dillon to build bridges. When asked if he would apologize to Dillon, Sam said: “If Dillon could admit that he instigated this and he continued to poke and poke, yeah I would apologize. I went from 0 to 100 very quickly. In my mind I had no other choice but to leave or it was going to get even uglier.
“Something happened. What did you expect me to do? Just sit there? That’s not me. I’m not going to sit there and just take it.”
