First glimpse of Lady Gaga in ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’
By Will Stroude
American Horror Story: Hotel
is still some months away from opening its doors, but we’ve finally been given our first glimpse of Lady Gaga’s much-hyped starring role.
The new teaser for the upcoming fifth season shows a fairly monstrous hand belonging to Gaga hitting the concierge bell – and our anticipation for what she has in store for her guests is going through the roof.
Series creator Ryan Murphy revealed at Comic Con earlier this week that the Bad Romance singer told him she wanted to be “evil” on the show. “I said, ‘ You came to the right place!’,” he joked.
He also recently implied that her character will be involved in a love triangle with Finn Wittrock and Matt Bomer – and let’s be honest, who wouldn’t sign up for 13 episodes of that?
The ever-expanding line-up for AHS: Hotel also includes Emma Roberts, Max Greenfield, Sarah Paulson, Chloë Sevigny, Kathy Bates, Wes Bentley and Cheyenne Jackson.
Although details regarding their roles are being kept under wraps, Ryan Murphy is said to be planning a large ‘reinvention’ for the show’s fifth season, which will be the first not to include Jessica Lange.
American Horror Story: Hotel airs in the US in the autumn on FX. Take a look a the teaser below:
