First look at Alexander Skarsgård in ‘The Legend of Tarzan’

In a move that’s got Attitude HQ browsing the best spot to pitch a tent outside our local branch of Cineworld, the first shots of Alexander Skarsgård in upcoming action adventure film The Legend of Tarzan have been released.
The True Blood actor stars as the titular King of the Jungle opposite former Neighbours alumna Margot Robbie, who’s portrays his wife Jane Porter in the new re-imagining of the classic tale.
Harry Potter director David Yates has helmed the action-adventure film, which is based on Edgar Rice Burroughs’s original Tarzan novel series, the first of which was published in 1912.
Co-starring Samuel L Jackson and and Spectre’s Cristoph Waltz, The Legend of Tarzan is set to hit screens in the US on July 1, 2016, ahead of a UK release date of July 8.
It’s safe to say Alex is looking fit enough to swing off something for hours – though obviously the real question is how the former True Blood star compares to this artist’s real-life re-imagining of Tarzan from (and several other Disney hunks) from earlier this year.
