RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World‘s Jujubee is set to make her West End debut this Spring as she sashays onto the stage in the return of the murder mystery comedy sensation, Death Drop (tickets are available here).
Joining her will be Drag Race UK series three finalist Kitty Scott Claus. The show, which has already had two sold-out West End runs as well as a smash hit UK tour, returns to The Criterion Theatre from Friday 4 March to Sunday 24 April.
Jujubee, who this week made the final four of Drag Race UK vs The World, says: “I am so excited to be joining the cast of Death Drop in London’s West End. I cannot wait to perform alongside these incredible artists.”
Kitty Scott-Claus, who performed for TuckShop in the Girls Aloud parody band, Gals Aloud, adds: “I am thrilled to be heading back to the West End with the wonderful team at TuckShop! I’ve got some big heels to fill following Courtney [Act] and Willam – but luckily I’m a size 10 so I’m used to big shoes.”
Death Drop takes place in 1991 when a gaggle of guests gather on Tuck Island for a soirée but find their members sashaying away one by one in a gripping whodunnit.
TuckShop’s Creative Director and Producer Christopher D. Clegg say he is “beyond excited” to be bringing Death Drop back with two Drag Race greats.
“To have one of the world’s most beloved drag queens, Jujubee, playing opposite Kitty will make for one unforgettable, fabulous, and fierce night in the theatre!” he says.
