Frank Ocean releases brand new visual album ‘Endless’
By Will Stroude
It seems like a million years since Frank Ocean released the critically acclaimed Channel Orange – perhaps because his follow-up album has been hyped for release for over a year now.
Over a year, Frank!
But the long wait came to a sudden end in the earlier hours of this morning (August 19) when the enigmatic singer, who revealed in a heartfelt open letter that Channel Orange was inspired by his love for a man back in 2012, dropped the mysterious “Endless” exclusively through Apple Music.
The 45 minute-long release features 12 tracks, while the video shows Frank Ocean building a staircase.
No, we’re not too sure either.
There are also pretty reliable whispers about that this won’t be the only new music Frank drops in the coming days. According to Pitchfork, fans should “keep an eye out this weekend for more from Frank”. They also confirmed that the album’s original title, Boys Don’t Cry, has been scrapped.
Endless is streaming on Apple Music now.
