Gay couple to have sex on TV in Channel 4’s ‘Sex Box’

By Ben Kelly

The controversial show Sex Box, which asks real couples to have sex on TV and then talk about it, is returning to Channel 4 next week.

This series will be hosted by Welsh presenting hunk Steve Jones, who will be assisted by Belgian sexologist Goedele Liekens.

It will feature both straight and gay couples, including 2015 Big Brother contestant Sam Kay, Telly Mix reports.

The show asks couples to enter a box in the studio, and have sex inside it. Once they emerge, they then discuss what happened with Liekens, who is a UN Ambassador for Sexual Health.

Launching the show, she said: “I’m looking forward to meeting more couples and getting an insight into their relationships through honest and open conversations and can’t wait to spice up Britain’s love lives.”

Molly Milton, from the production company ClearStory, oversaw the initial one-off episode of Sex Box, and said they are looking forward to this full series.

“As well as delivering plenty of surprises and revealing the reality of Britain’s sex lives, we’ll hear first-hand how honesty about our sex lives, our desires and fantasies is integral to relationships,” she said.

Sex Box returns to Channel 4 on April 4 at 10pm.
