In a new interview with The Sun, the 42-year-old said that she’s “so excited” about her new tracks, saying that she even recorded one track while – in true Geri style – riding a horse in Texas.
“The strangest place that I’ve done recording is on horseback in Austin, Texas. [Fiancé] Christian [Horner] was ahead of me and I was singing to the horse. If I’ve got a melody I want to keep it,” said the singer.
Last year, the Bag It Up singer saw her UK chart record for the most Number One records by a British solo female broken by Cheryl Cole, who scored her fifth UK chart-topper with I Don’t Care.
Geri’s first solo release in 8 years – 2013’s Half of Me – peaked at Number 281 in Australia, but never saw a UK release.
