The world has rightly fallen for Elio and Oliver’s sun-drenched romance in Call Me By Your Name, and as anyone who’s seen Luca Guadagnino’s touching gay drama knows, the film’s stunning soundtrack has a huge part to play in audiences’ ongoing love affair.
US singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens contribtued two original tracks to the film – ‘Mystery of Love’ and ‘Visions of Gideon’ – which have have made the shortlist for Best Original Song nominations at this year’s Oscars.
Now, finally, ‘Mystery of Love’ has its very own music video.
Featuring exclusive clips from the film, as well as footage taken at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale of Naples, the visual give us all the welcome opportunity to dive back into northern Italy in the summer of 1983, and offers some bonus footage for those who are yet to see CMBYN (for shame!)
One thing’s for sure, you’ll need to grab the tissues.
