Get ready for a bit of Gay Bingo

By Will Stroude

Like all good diva’s, the Gay Bingo Girls can’t resist one last hurrah, so they’re hosting the Love Cruise one last time, from 2.30pm on Sunday August 7 at London’s Tower Pier. The best bit? You could be there for just twenty quid.

But of course we don’t expect you to just turn up without a good reason to. In fact, we’ve got five reasons why you’d be a fool to miss it!

1)  The original Gay Bingo Trio are back

The infamous ménage à trois of Jonny Woo, John Sizzle and Ma Butcher return for their annual knees up on the Thames for an afternoon Love Cruise to remember! Expect all the usual Gay Bingo water side shenanigans, including  pop up performances, dicey dance moves, cardboard props and gallons of prossecco will make this a trip you’ll not want to miss at any cost.  Like an avant garde Spice Girls reunion, if you will.

2) The Guest Stars

The Gay Bingo Ladies will be joined by some of London’s top draw DJ talent (headed by DJ Fanfar of Meat fame) and a smorgasbord of drag talent including Holestar and Glyn Famous, Sink The Pink’s chief glitter sprinkler plus and more glamourous drag nut bags to keep the boat rocking. …

3)  The Crowd

A veritable who’s who of London’s glitter-arty, plus lovely lads, sexy sailors, friendly bears, glamour pusses and girls.  Add to that the odd petrified celeb, and you’ve got London’s hottest soirée! Don’t be afraid to dress up, because, as Patti LuPone once belted (or at least we think she did, her diction’s terrible) anything goes!

4) The Bingo

Add in a rousting dauber waving game of Bingo!  Everyone goes completely bonkers for bingo – booing the winners and pelting them with scrunched up cards – getting into the game more than is truly healthy! Be prepared for some fierce competition!  Oh, and you’ll really want to see what happens when number 69 gets called…!

5) The Legendary Afterparty!

This year’s secret party for ticket holders with DJ’s Jonbenet & Jaqui Potato, and is set to be so wild you’ll have forgotten how you got there by the time it ends.

Ready, set, go get your tickets!

The Gay Bingo Boat Party takes place this Sunday, 7 August 2016 from 14:30 to 19:00 at Dutch Master, Tower Pier, London, EC3N 4DT
