‘Girls’ star Lena Dunham: ‘I might quit acting’
By Sam Rigby
star Lena Dunham has revealed that she may quit acting in the future.
The actress – who also directs and writes the HBO series – said that she would “rather give parts to other women”.
In an interview with Glamour magazine, Dunham said: “I don’t know if I’m going to want to act anymore.
“I’m always relieved on the days I don’t have to. I’d rather give parts to other women than be the woman having the parts.”
Girls is currently airing its third season, and will return for a fourth series in 2015.
The series airs on Mondays on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
