‘Glee’s McHale: ‘Two people in love should never be illegal’

‘s Kevin McHale has spoken out in support of gay marriage.
He has appeared in a new video for the Human Rights Campaign’s Americans for Marriage Equality campaign, saying that “two people in love should never be illegal”.
The actor spoke about his experiences on the Fox musical comedy, as well as what family means to him – watch the video below.
He said: “We need nationwide marriage equality now because two people in love should never be illegal.
“Family, to me, is about surrounding yourself with loved ones and having them by your side, no matter what happens. Committed and loving gay and lesbian couples deserve to have their love, their relationships and their families recognised like everyone else.”
Glee is well known for tackling issues of homophobia, with Chris Colfer’s character Kurt appearing in all five seasons to date. The show will end after its upcoming sixth season.
