Glenn Close to reprise her role as Norma Desmond in the movie musical adaptation of ‘Sunset Boulevard’

Glenn Close is set to reprise her role as Norma Desmond in the new movie adaptation of Sunset Boulevard.
The stage and screen legend portrayed the silent cinema actress on Broadway in 1994 and reprised the role in 2016 and won a Tony Award for her performance.
Now, Close has been signed out to reprise the role once again in the upcoming movie adaptation of the hit musical and is expected to start filming this autumn.
The Hollywood Reporter reported that composer Andrew Lloyd Webber is among the producers of the project.
The story follows Norma Desmond, a faded and deluded silent-screen star who yearns to make it back onto the big screen and ensnares a screenwriter into her fantasy,
In 1950, the story was brought to the big screen starring Gloria Swanson as the iconic actress.
