Gus Kenworthy posts ‘Missed Connections’ ad for Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef
The Winter Olympian shared the Craigslist style post on Instagram
Gus Kenworthy wants to reconnect with Ricky Martin and his husband Jwan Yosef.
The Winter Olympian and boyfriend Matthew Wilkas shared a Craigslist “Missed Connections” style ad on Instagram, hoping to connect with Martin and Yosef after the four met at the Oscars on Sunday night (March 4).
Alongside the post, titled “*Craiglist Missed Connections*”, Kenworthy shared two images of themselves at the Oscars in black tuxedos.
The 26-year-old wrote: “Living La Vida Lonely – m4m (LA, California)”.
“Us: We were wearing black Ralph Lauren tuxedos, mine had little cowboys on it. You: You were also both wearing tuxedos because… well, because it was the Oscars and everybody does. You and your husband stood out though.
“Partly because you’re both gorgeous but also because you’re literally Ricky Martin & Jwan Yosef. The four of us chatted and laughed but then, sadly, got separated in the chaos of the Oscars.
“My bf and I searched for you both for the rest of the night but never found you again.”
He added: “In town for a week. Let’s connect.”
Kenworthy made headlines last week for being one of the first openly gay athletes to compete in the Winter Olympics and sharing a kiss with his boyfriend Matthew Wilkas.
He also revealed the horrifying homophobic abuse he’s faced on his YouTube channel.
