Harry Styles has responded to claims that he had an affair with President Barack Obama.
The frontpage of the November 24 issue of National Examiner makes the bizarre remark, claiming that Obama’s marriage to his wife Michelle is “a sham,” and that he’s been “hiding his gay lifestyle” so he can be President. Find out more here.
When asked about the outlandish claims in a new interview this week, the One Direction star joked that bandmate Niall Horan might be “a bit jealous.”
“I honestly have no idea what you’re talking about,” Styles told a journalist at the BBC Music Awards (December 11).
“I heard some good ones in my time. That’s interesting. Were you asking me to confirm, or deny? I feel like [bandmate] Niall would be a bit jealous, though, he loves Obama,” he added.
Last month (November), Harry Styles fuelled rumours he is bisexual after he said in an interview that the sex of a potential partner “isn’t that important” – find out more here.
Meanwhile, Styles also showed his support for openly gay American football player Michael Sam during a show on One Direction’s world tour – get the full story here.
