“What An Honour,” Finney shared, reacting to the Emmy nomination.
Patrick Walters, the executive producer of Heartstopper, shared “ 9 Emmy noms! the whole Heartstopper team was lucky enough to be on set together for [the announcement]”.
Seeming to reference the news this week of Kit Connor coming out as bisexual and Joe Locke being cast in Marvel’s upcoming series, Agatha: Coven of Chaos, Patrick added, “couldn’t be prouder of Kit and Joe, especially today.”
Alongside his celebration, Walters posted a behind-the-scenes video of Connor and Locke filming the iconic snowball fight scene from season one.
Olivia Colman, who plays Nick’s loving mother, has also got an Emmy nomination nod for ‘Guest Performance’.
The show is also up for ‘Casting for a Live Action Program’ and ‘Makeup and Hairstyling.’
