Henry Cavill shares embarrassing side-effect of sex scenes

Seems Superman star Henry Cavill is the Man of Steel in more ways than one.

In a recent interview with Men’s Fitness, the handsome 32-year old Brit opened up about one unwanted side effect when he was shooting a particularly enthusiastic sex scene with an unnamed actress.

We’re talking on-set erections, people. We’ll let Cavill take it from here:

“It’s only happened to me once, and it was very embarrassing. A girl had to be on top of me, she had spectacular breasts, and I hadn’t rearranged my — stuff into a harmless position. She’s basically rubbing herself all over me and, um, it got a bit hard,” he says.

I had to apologise profusely afterward. It’s not great when you’re in a professional acting environment and somebody gets a boner, is it? No, not acceptable.

You don’t think of sex scenes as showing your bum to the nation. The very last thing it is is sexy. The actual physicality is very uncomfortable. All you’re doing is smacking your nuts against someone, and nothing is going in.”

Honestly, this is our favourite Cavill-related story since he revealed back in March that, post-Superman training, his meaty thighs can “do some damage.”
