Holly Valance returns to music on Clockwise track ‘Hopeless’
By Sam Rigby
Holly Valance has made her musical comeback on a new Andy Clockwise track.
The Kiss Kiss singer announced the feature on her website, describing Clockwise as “living legend in the LA gig/party/DJ scene”.
Valance also confirmed that Hopeless will be released on iTunes on July 15.
She said: “So I flew to LA for 36 hours the other day to go cut a track with someone I’d be dying to work with for a while now.
“Andy Clockwise is basically a living legend in the LA gig/party/dj/ scene. We’ve known each other for many years & so far only talked about working together.
“The stars aligned & he asked me to feature with him on his new single Hopeless – which he played me a while back & I fell in love with! It’s one of the catchiest, coolest tracks to drop right now!” she added.
Valance topped the UK and Australian charts with her single Kiss Kiss in 2002. She released two studio albums, Footprints and State of Mind, in 2002 and 2003 respectively.
