Hollyoaks reveals new love interest for Ste

Hollyoaks bosses have confirmed that new village resident Harry Thompson is set to become a new love interest for Ste Hay.
The teenager and onscreen son of Tony Hutchinson, played by Parry Glasspool, will embark on a relationship with Kieron Richardon’s long-running character later in the year, DigitalSpy reports.
Viewers saw the first hints of attraction between the pair in last night’s first look episode on E4, in which sixth-form student Harry confided in Ste about his confusion surrounding his sexuality.
Producers have confirmed that though things will take a while to develop between the pair, it marks the start of a big storyline for the characters, with the fallout set to rock Ste’s relationship with husband John Paul McQueen (James Sutton).
A Hollyoaks source told Digital Spy: “Harry and Ste get together later this year, but their decision could have huge consequences for a number of characters.
“Ste is best friends with Harry’s father Tony, but their friendship may not survive once the relationship gets under way. John Paul and Sinead, who both have strong feelings for Ste, will also no doubt have their own parts to play in the story.”
There have also been big moments for Kieron Richardson offscreen recently: the 29-year-old married long-term boyfriend Carl Hyland just last week (April 25).
The pair tied the knot in front of several of the show’s cast members, including Stephanie Davis, Jennifer Metcalfe, Jorgie Porter, Jazmine Franks, Gemma Merna and Bronagh Waugh, who all served as honorary bridesmaids.
