How to Get Away with Murder’s Jack Falahee and Conrad Ricamora blast gay kiss censorship
By Will Stroude
ABC’s smash hit, How To Get Away With Murder’s third season saw characters Connor (Jack Falahee) and Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) share a kiss. But, if you were watching in the Philippines, you wouldn’t know it.
It’s not the first time the show has fallen foul of international censors – in June this year, an Italian network apologised after cutting a gay sex scene from the show.
Human Rights Council Visibility Award recipient Ricamora, who’s Filipino himself, took to twitter to air his frustration at the scene being cut, demanding that the stations responsible “get into 2016”

He then went on to share a text conversation between the two actors, in which both vent their anger, before Falahee tweeted the stations directly to demand an answer.

Luckily, the internet is a difficult thing to censor, and the kiss made its was onto Twitter for all to see. Check it out below:

After receiving widespread backlash, Sony decided to bring the kiss back, and will show the unedited version in the Philippines this Friday (October 7).
