Olympic champion Caitlyn Jenner’s reality show I Am Cait has been dogged by rumours of faltering ratings and cancellation threats for quite some time now, and it looks as though the whispers were right, as she announced the show is coming to an end via Twitter yesterday (August 16).
After 2 amazing seasons of @IAmCait, it's time for the next adventure. Thank you E! & thank you to the best girlfriends I could ask for!

However, fans of the former athlete and reality star, who recently claimed it was easier to come out as transgender than as a Republican, needn’t fret: according to a statement from E! Entertainment, the 66-year-old former Olympian heading straight back to Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
“We are incredibly proud of the two seasons of I Am Cait, a groundbreaking docuseries that sparked an important and unprecedented global conversation about transgender people, their struggles and triumphs,” the statement reads.
“Caitlyn and E! have mutually decided not to move forward with another season at this time. She will always remain a part of the E! family, and we look forward to continue following her journey as she appears on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
And if you can’t wait for her to reappear with the Kardashians, you can always catch her in season three of Transparent, which beings on September 23. You can watch the trailer for the new season here.
