Ian Thorpe talks about his relationship with Ryan Channing

Ian Thorpe tells the Daily Mail that he is ‘really happy’ with his boyfriend since coming out. The five time winning gold medalist, Ian Thorpe told the Australian Daily Mail that his relationship with model boyfriend, Ryan Channing, is going the best it has since going public. Being Ian’s first public relationship since coming out in an interview back in 2014 , he told the paper: ‘Things are good.’ Ending by saying: ‘I’m really happy and have been for a while.’ The swimming champion had announced that he was dating the model back in February after the two had been seen going on dates together. The Australian champion hasn’t had it easy when it comes to finding people to date, last year he told Sunday: “Dating’s been a lot harder than I thought it would be. “It’s an absolute mess out there! I’m like, ‘Where are all the normal people?’ I’ve never really dated, so I’ve come in being almost completely blindsided by this. We’re glad things are going well for the couple now.
