Iggy Azalea teases “epic plans” for Britney’s new single
By Josh Haggis
Iggy Azalea has teased that there are “epic plans” in place for Britney Spears’ new single.
Spears – who began working on her ninth studio album earlier this year – is thought to have met up with Azalea to record music during her recent trip to the UK to promote her lingerie line.
Replying to a tweet from a fan who asked whether rumours that she had been removed from the track were true, Iggy said it “couldn’t be further from the truth” and added that Britney’s fans should “get ready”.
@iggy_base @QuintaleAzalea insiders are always really OUTsiders with misinformation. This couldn’t be further from the truth. get ready.

@JakeLindner @iggy_base @QuintaleAzalea There are pretty epic plans underway for the song that’s all I’ll say.

The track will be the first new music from Spears since she released her eighth studio album Britney Jean. The album – which featured singles Work Bitch and Perfume – failed to match the success of her previous records, peaking at a disappointing Number 34 on the Official UK Albums Chart. Will Iggy’s magic touch reignite Britney’s chart fortunes?
