Jodie Harsh, Jonathan Ross plan UK version of ‘Drag Race’

Jodie Harsh and Jonathan Ross are working on a UK version of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
RuPaul’s Drag Race, which airs on US LGBT-oriented network Logo, has been a huge cult hit since it launched in 2009 and is now on its seventh season. Iconic drag queen RuPaul presides over an endlessly quotable hunt to find “America’s next drag superstar”.
Now a British version is in the works. “I’ve been working with Jodie on a UK version of RuPaul’s Drag Race,” Ross revealed in an interview with the Daily Star.
“Unfortunately we have had to take a break because of some family issues. But we’re hoping to pick it up again in the near future.”
He then added, in reference to one of the show’s famous catchphrases: “I am definitely serving ‘middle-aged-realness!’.”

Jodie Harsh served as DJ at Attitude‘s 20th Birthday Party at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel last Saturday night (March 29).
