Johnny Weir, Victor Voronov confirm reconciliation

Johnny Weir has confirmed that he has reconciled with his husband Victor Voronov.

The US figure skater took to Twitter on Tuesday (May 6) to confirm that they will not be going ahead with their divorce.

He posted: “My husband and I have happily reconciled. Please respect our privacy and integrity at this time.”

Back in March, Weir revealed with “great sadness” that his marriage to Voronov was over after just over two years. They married in New York on New Year’s Eve 2011.

News of their split came just weeks after Weir reportedly appeared in court after his husband alleged that he bit him during a violent dispute.

Just a few weeks ago, Voronov said that their divorce was “100 percent still happening”, and blamed Weir’s “meddling mother” for the breakdown of their marriage.
