JoJo Siwa says she has a girlfriend weeks after coming out: ‘She’s super encouraging’

JoJo Siwa has revealed that she has a girlfriend, just weeks after coming out online.
The TikTok star first addressed her sexuality in a Twitter post last month, sharing a picture of herself wearing a t-shirt with the slogan: “Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever.”
She then discussed the matter in an Instagram video, explaining that she’s not ready to label herself. Now the Dance Moms star is sharing some more.

“I do have the most amazing, wonderful, perfect, most beautiful girlfriend,” said JoJo on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon yesterday.
The 17-year-old continued that her girlfriend is “super encouraging” of her decision.
“It’s not something I’m ashamed of,” she added of coming out. “I just [wasn’t something I’d] shown the internet yet.”
In her recent Insta video, JoJo said she’s the “happiest she’s ever been” since coming out.

“I always believed that my person was just going to be my person,” she said.
“And if that person happened to be a boy, great, and if that person happened to be a girl, great!”
