Jonathan Groff has claimed he is “not as hot” as the computer-animated character he plays in Frozen.

The Looking actor provides the voice of strapping iceman Kristoff in Disney’s Oscar-winning smash, which is now the highest-grossing animated film of all time.

A character based on the film’s heroine, Elsa, has recently been introduced into US fantasy series Once Upon A Time – and Groff was asked by Vulture if would consider reprising his role in the live-action TV series.

“I would, but I’m not as hot as my cartoon character,” Groff said. “It would be a big letdown. I’m not blond or six-foot-five.”

groff2Groff, who actually stands at five-foot-eleven, was then asked if he would consider appearing in the upcoming Broadway adaptation of Frozen.

“Yes. If they let me sing Let It Go,” he replied.

Meanwhile, Disney said last month (April) that it has yet to discuss a sequel to Frozen, and is currently focusing on the Broadway adaptation of the big screen smash.

Frozen has now taken nearly $1.2 billion (£720 million) at the box office worldwide since its release last November.
