Justin Bieber’s private jet has been searched for drugs after US customs officials thought they could smell marijuana.
The troubled singer touched down in New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport yesterday evening (January 31) after flying from his native Canada to watch the Super Bowl in nearby East Rutherford tomorrow (February 2).
Drug-sniffing drogs were brought onto the plane and Bieber and his fellow passengers were questioned for several hours, Reuters reports, but no illegal substances were found and Bieber will face no charges.
Bieber has been in the headlines all this week after appearing in court over DUI charges – and then being accused of assault by a limo driver.
