Kevin Elyot’s play ‘My Night with Reg’ for London revival
By Sam Rigby
Kevin Elyot’s play My Night with Reg is to be revived to coincide with its 20th anniversary.
The Olivier Award-winning comedy will run at London’s Donmar Warehouse from July 31 until September 27.
Robert Hastie will direct the new production, which will be the first major revival since the play’s original run at the Royal Court Theatre in 1994.
Matt Bardock, Jonathan Broadbent, Richard Cant and Julian Ovenden will star in My Night with Reg, alongside Lewis Reeves and Geoffrey Streatfeild.
The comedy takes place in the summer of 1985 in Guy’s London flat, where old and new friends gather for an all night party. However, for Guy and his circle of friends the world is about to change forever.
Public booking for the play opens on Wednesday, June 18.
