Kristen Chenoweth has revealed that she has undergone medical tests after suffering mysterious symptoms that apparently left her immobile.

The TV and Broadway veteran revealed on Twitter yesterday (August 4) that she was “unable to move” and experiencing a “numbness and tingling” in one of her arms.

Chenoweth, known her role as Glinda in the original Broadway production of Wicked and TV appearances in Glee and Pushing Daisies, added that she was heading to LA’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to see a doctor, and asked her fans: “Anyone who prays please do!” See her tweet below.

Earlier today (August 5), Chenoweth gave fans an update, explaining that she had undergone an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scan to help doctors to understand her symptoms. See her tweet below.

Chenoweth, 46, previously suffered a head injury in 2012 when a lighting fixture fell on her as she was filming a guest appearance on US legal drama The Good Wife. She sustained a skull fracture, broken nose, spinal and rib injuries and cracked teeth, but has since recovered.

She recently reunited with her Glee co-star Lea Michele to perform a song from Wickedwatch the duet here.
