Kylie and Dannii Minogue to guest star on Drag Race Down Under
The Aussie pop princesses and gay icons have been confirmed for the first series.

Gay Christmas has come early this year, for not one but two Minogue sisters are set to make their Drag Race debuts.
Yep, Kylie and Dannii Minogue are both set to appear as celebrity guests on the first-ever series of Drag Race Down Under, which premieres on BBC Three vias BBC iPlayer in the UK next month (2 May).
In a statement, Kylie, 52, says: “I’m SO excited to finally be a part of RuPaul’s Drag Race for the first series Down Under.
“It’s such an iconic show and I can’t wait to watch the contestants perform their hearts out to win the title of Down Under’s first Drag Superstar!”
Dannii Minogue, 49, adds: “I got to have a cheeky ‘Untucked’ chat with the girls on RPDR Down Under Season 1.
“They had come straight from the runway challenge so it was exciting and tense all at the same time, not knowing who was going to have to lip sync for their life!”
Kylie and Dannii’s last major joint media project came way back in 2015, when the singing siblings and long-time gay icons teamed up for festive dance anthem ‘100 Degrees’.
As well the Kylie and Dannii, Drag Race Down Under will also feature an appearance from New Zealand actor and director Taika Waititi, who has helmed big screen movies including Thor: Ragnarok and Jojo Rabbit.
Featuring queens from Australia and New Zealand, the first series of Drag Race Down Under will premiere in the UK BBC Three via BBC iPlayer from 9am on Sunday 2 May.
Each 60-minute episode of the eight-part series will drop weekly, with RuPaul and Michelle Visage set to appear on the judging panel alongside Australian comedian Rhys Nicholson, who will serves as a permanent judge.
The 10 fierce Aussie and Kiwi queens include: Anita Wigl’it, Art Simone, Coco Jumbo, Elektra Shock, Etcetera Etcetera, JoJo Zaho, Karen from Finance, Kita Mean, Maxi Shield and Scarlet Adams.
Drag Race Down Under premieres on BBC Three via BBC iPlayer at 9am on Sunday 2 May.
