Kylie Minogue: I’m not on Tinder, men can come and find me

Kylie Minogue has opened up about her love life, her battle with cancer and her relationship with Michael Hutchence on The Jonathan Ross Show.
Asked by Ross if she was on the dating app Tinder, Kylie said “I’m not on Tinder. Maybe I’m not looking anymore, I figure if someone’s there they can come and find me.” Expressing similar sentiments to Madonna, when Ross posed her the same question a few weeks ago, Kylie added “All I do is work so I’ll probably meet someone on the job.”
When asked about Angelina Jolie’s recent decision to go public about her preventative cancer treatment, Kylie reflected on her own battle with the illness. “I have yet to reach my ten year mark, but I imagine I’ll be having a bit of champagne, and crying a lot and feeling very happy and joyful and thanking all my friends and family.”
She also admitted that her relationship with Michael Hutchence – who she dated between 1989 and 1991 – introduced her to a wilder life than she’d been used to. “It was the right time in my life as well to open up to the world and discover a lot of new things. Even when it was slightly on the wild side, he was always very tender with me. I was a little precious thing to him.” She went on to describe him as her “guardian angel”.
Kylie shared the sofa with Bear Grylls and Clare Balding, who revealed that she and Alice Arnold are now married.
Kylie was promoting her new single Right Here Right Now which she’s recorded with Giorgio Moroder, and her headline appearance at this summer’s BST Hyde Park concert on 21st June, where she’ll be supported by Grace Jones and Chic with Nile Rodgers.
