Kylie to perform ‘Especially For You’ on Sport Relief
By Sam Rigby
Kylie Minogue is to perform Especially For You on Sport Relief next week.
Our favourite Aussie gal will sing the 1989 hit on BBC One on Friday, March 21.
Sport Relief are claiming it will be her first TV performance of the classic Stock Aitken Waterman song in 25 years – though Minogue actually sang Especially For You with Kermit the Frog during her 2001 ITV special An Audience With Kylie Minogue.
The singer will be joined by a “very special guest” for the Sport Relief performance of the much-loved chart-topper, which she originally recorded as a duet with Jason Donovan.
Kylie released her new single Into The Blue yesterday (March 9), and will release her twelfth studio album Kiss Me Once next week (March 17).
The singer will appear at Facebook HQ in London tomorrow (March 11) for an exclusive album preview event, where she will answer fan questions from around the world.
