Kylie’s ‘Kiss Me Once’ tour: Everything we know so far
By Sam Rigby
Kylie Minogue will launch her first UK arena tour in three-and-a-half years tonight (September 24) with a show at Liverpool’s Echo Arena.
The Slow singer has kept details about her Kiss Me Once arena show largely under wraps, but some details about the tour have emerged in recent days.
She has confirmed that she will perform six songs from Kiss Me Once, as well as 18 of her greatest hits. The set will also feature a couple of medleys and a surprise cover.
Kylie has also promised to take a step back in time to her Stock Aitken and Waterman days, with a full section of the show dedicated to material from her early career.
She told the Leicester Mercury that fans can expect some extra special performances: “We’ve got access to the actual PWL sounds. We’ve worked closely with them to get the recordings, and it’s just brilliant.
“You’re going to hear sounds that you haven’t heard since the Eighties.”
Meanwhile, Kylie has also unveiled two costume sketches, including a sparkly black leotard designed by Dolce & Gabbana.
It wouldn’t be a Kylie show if there wasn’t some hot male dancers, and by the looks of her dancer Ben, we aren’t going to be left disappointed…
She’s also released this short teaser video ahead of opening night:
The Kiss Me Once tour will also visit Manchester, London, Cardiff, Nottingham, Birmingham, Glasgow, Newcastle and Sheffield.
