Lady Gaga’s ‘AHS: Hotel’ character revealed in on-set pics

We’ve had our first official glimpse at Lady Gaga’s American Horror Story: Hotel character – but a second, unofficial, sighting has proved far more revealing…
Bystanders captured Gaga in full costume as she filmed scenes for the horror anthology series’ upcoming fifth season at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Wednesday night (August 19), offering fans their first proper look at her character Elizabeth – the evil, bisexual owner of the titular guest house.
The footage sees the 29-year-old – who recently threw an incredibly extravagant AHS-themed party for her co-stars at her home – dressed to the nines in a fushia gown, bleach blonde hair and a very familiar-looking bejewelled silver glove.
At last month’s Comic Con, series creator Ryan Murphy revealed that the Bad Romance singer told him she wanted to be “evil” when she discussed appearing on the show, and joked: “I said, ‘ You came to the right place!’”
He also recently implied that her character will be involved in a love triangle with Finn Wittrock and Matt Bomer – and let’s be honest, who wouldn’t sign up for 13 episodes of that?
The ever-expanding line-up for AHS: Hotel also includes former show favourites Emma Roberts, Max Greenfield, Sarah Paulson, Chloë Sevigny, Kathy Bates, Wes Bentley and Cheyenne Jackson.
Although details regarding their roles are being kept under wraps, Ryan Murphy is said to be planning a large-scale ‘reinvention’ for the fifth season, which will be the show’s first not to include its Emmy-winning matriarch Jessica Lange.
