Lauren Harries has revealed that she is auditioning for next year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant wants to represent the UK at next year’s event, which will take place in Austria following Conchita Wurst’s victory.
Harries also told her Twitter followers that she will use a song she made up in the Big Brother house as her audition piece. Viewers saw Harries sing All Dressed Up With Nowhere To Go on last year’s series – watch a clip below.
“She’s been busy practising in the karaoke bars of Gran Canaria,” an insider told Heat magazine.
If Harries is successful, she will follow in the footsteps of this year’s UK representative Molly Smitten-Downes, who finished in 17th place with a total of 40 points.
The 60th Eurovision Song Contest will take place on May 16, 2015 at a venue yet to be confirmed.
