Lee Ryan: ‘I need to go to the gym before getting naked again’

Blue’s Lee Ryan has admitted that he needs to get back in shape before he agrees to strip naked for Attitude again.

Speaking to Attitude at our 20th birthday party in London on Saturday night (March 29), Lee said: “We’ve had an offer to do it again, but I need to get down to the gym first.”

Meanwhile, bandmate Duncan James revealed that Blue fans can expect a “surprise” announcement very soon.

He said: “We’ve got loads going on actually. It’s really exciting. Obviously you’ve heard about The Big Reunion tour, which is going to be in October. We’ve got another Blue surprise that is going to be announced very shortly, but we can’t disclose anything at the moment.

“We’re about to go touring in Japan for the first time in eight or nine years, which is going to be great.”

Lee said that the public’s opinion of him has mellowed slightly in the months following his appearance in the Celebrity Big Brother house, where he became involved in a love triangle.

“To be honest with you I’ve had so many nice comments from people on the street saying that they really enjoyed me on the show,” he said. “I just ignore the trolls on Twitter. Some people can’t see that it’s an entertainment show and that’s what I did.”
