Lil Nas X hits back as 50 Cent and other trolls cruelly mock his Nicki Minaj Halloween look
As Dave East chimes in with an anti-gay slur, the 'Old Town Road' says: "Leave me alone."
Lil Nas X has defended himself from cruel remarks from the likes of rappers 50 Cent and Dave East over his fierce choice of Halloween outfit.
The ‘Panini’ singer dressed as his idol Nicki Minaj over the weekend (it was epic), before sharing pictures of the look on social media.
And while most praised the ‘Super Bass’-inspired shots, some couldn’t help but be… utterly pathetic?
“Nicki come get him”
Sharing the pictures on his own Twitter, 50 Cent – who has 45 years under his belt to Nas’ 21 – wrote: “What the fuck, Nikki come get him !!! Lol.”
Gross.

Meanwhile, fellow rapper Dave East reportedly commented on an aggregated Instagram post of the costume (as per Complex): “And y’all was mad at me about this n***a”.
In the later-deleted posts he allegedly added: “Bati mon bun up!!!!” and “I gotta move to jamaica, @PopcaanMusic on my wayyyy chubble.”
The slur ‘batty man’ originates from Jamaica, where sex between men is illegal.
“I don’t bother a soul in this industry”
Lil Nax X, who came out publicly as gay last year and is rumoured to have previously run an anonymous Minaj fan account, yesterday tweeted: “bro i don’t bother a soul in this industry. all i do is tweet and make bangers. leave me alone damn.”

The Grammy-winning singer of the smash hit single ‘Old Town Road’ later added: “It’s november 2nd and grown men are waking up to have group discussions about a costume i wore on halloween.”
He’s not wrong!
According to Indy100, Lil Nas X also responded to 50 Cent in a since-deleted tweet, saying: “Why u in Barb business.”
We’ll leave things on a positive note, and this sweet response which about sums up what we think:
the fact that lil nas x had to hide his love for nicki to achieve commercial success and then has come full circle as a proud barb 😭
